MAY-DAY MOBILE DOG & CAT GROOMING is a full service mobile unit designed to accommodate large and small dogs and cats for baths, hair cuts and other grooming related services. We can come to you or you can come to us at a pre-scheduled stationary location.
“WE’LL COME TO YOUR RESCUE!” Some businesses appreciate the benefit of having our mobile unit park in their parking lots to service their customers for the day. MAY-DAY Mobile Dog & Cat Grooming
is a small family owned and operated business in INVERNESS, FLORIDA, consisting of Milinda and her husband Edward May. They have been a grooming team for more than 25 years! Now their young boys are joining the pack to help out when needed. Ed is the administrator and Milinda does most of the grooming. Milinda May is a professional pet groomer with over 35 years experience in both grooming and dog training. She began her grooming career in 1986, two years after she got out of pre-vet tech school in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Since then, she has mentored and groomed under Master Groomers in the states of Ohio, Virginia, Washington DC, Alaska and Florida. She also has groomed in Canada and Ecuador and owned two stationary grooming shops. 
Dogs are Milinda’s passion, and the driving force behind our grooming business, there’s no doubt about that! Cats, coming in as a close second to dogs, are like ‘furry cuddle motors.”

OUR SERVICES
We offer professional, personalized, all breed grooming care to your dogs and cats. From ‘JUST THE BASICS’ to full breed styles or custom hair cuts. A full grooming includes: bath, dry, brush out, hair cut, clip or grind nail trim, ear cleaning and hair removal if needed, expressing anal glands (dogs only*), Teeth brushing is an add-on service that can be added to any grooming*.
CATS
YES, we groom CATS too!
In fact, we practically specialize in grooming cats because we groom so many! We can do just the nails, bath or full haircuts including the beloved lion cut! I won’t lie, cats give us a “run for our money” that’s for sure, but we have discovered ways to reduce their stress and keep all involved safe from cat-astrofies! Cats usually do best with the mobile unit coming to them. WE DO OUR BEST!
We recognize your pets are LIVE ANIMALS that you have placed in our care. We will ALWAYS do our best to keep them safe with the lowest anxiety levels possible.
Your pet’s grooming is determined on your pet’s size, breed, coat, skin condition, routine grooming schedule and behavior. While we make every effort to accommodate requests, results will depend on your pet’s condition prior to grooming and their temperament during the session.
